Liga Mayor top team -San Salvador (13-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixth ranked Ahuachapan (3-10) 99-65 . San Salvador forced 30 Ahuachapan turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 36 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Ahuachapan 's players. It was a quality performance for Cuban Anisleidys Martinez (181-1989) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 15 rebounds and 9 assists. Adriana Rivas (176-1996) accounted for 20 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals for the winning side. San Salvador's coach Rainel Panfet felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dominican Yenifer Jimenez (163-1999) came up with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and Vanessa Bautista added 14 points and 13 rebounds respectively for Ahuachapan in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. San Salvador have an impressive series of thirteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with 13-0 record. Ahuachapan at the other side dropped to the seventh position with ten games lost. They share it with Santa Tecla 2.
